UCI's Direct client is looking for Network Specialist with following qualification experience and long-term project in 2 Metro Tech Center, New York (link removed) Task: 1. Performanalysis anddesign of thenetworkusing primarily butnot limitedto Cisco technologies toensure minimumimpact to services duringnetwork refreshactivities. 2. Completerouter/switch Ciscoconfiguration templatesfor newly deployedor legacydevices. 3. PerformSNMP, syslog,NTP and NetFlowtesting. 4. Coordinateafter hourschanges withvarious agencies,create changetickets, pursueapprovals, and respondto any questionsthat may be raised by any ofthe teams. 5. Research and resolvenetwork problemsrelated to the implementation,open TAC cases as needed and identifyroot causes. 6. DocumentNetwork incompliance with standards. 7. Aspart of any decommissioning activity:remove legacyconfigurations,remove unused IP subnets,ports fromdocumentation,and update networkdiagrams, following guidelines.Attend meetings,follow upon assigned tasksand complete anyadditional tasksassigned by the managerof the group,in the area(s)of and networking,configuration,VoIP or QoS. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCENote: Candidateswho do nothave the mandatoryskills will not be considered 1. Minimumtwelve yearsof experiencein the fieldof networking 2. Musthave hands-onexperience withBGP, MPLS,OSPF routing protocolsin a large environment. Valid/currentCCNP certificate.REQUIRED 4 years ofexperience reviewingprojectdesign andsystem documents.
