RN Registered Nurse Manager Medical Surgical in Kansas City MO A 590 bed hospital offers an array of medical and health clinic services This includes women s services offering obstetrics and fertility an emergency room and a trauma center We offer a Stroke Center a walk in clinic and orthopedics across four Kansas City locations Our specialty care areas include a Chest Pain Center Level I Trauma Center Breast Care Center Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Programs and Primary Stroke Center Job Summary: middot;Provides nursing leadership for assessing planning implementing and evaluating patient care and safety in assigned areas of responsibility middot;Collaborates with physicians and other departments to coordinate the needs of patients and their families middot;Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner middot;Supports the mission and vision of the facility division and company middot;Assures quality care through the initiation and evaluation of patient care utilizing performance improvement process Salary Range 90K min 125 max; Based on years of experience Qualifications: middot;Minimum 3 years of manager charge experience and 2 years staff nurse experience in area of specialty inpatient acute care units required middot;Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required BSN preferred middot;Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Missouri as a registered nurse is required middot;Certifications in area of specialty BCLS and ACLS is required and to be maintained Additional Information middot;Medical Surgical ndash; 49 Beds Unit split into two units ; Intermediate Care level General urology vascular post surgical patients Tele Monitoring and behavioral health care 1:5 Nurse to Patient Ratio; Collaborative support with PCTs LPNs Charge Nurses middot;Level I Trauma Center middot;75 full time direct reports middot;Reports to the Director of Medical Surgical
