Career Opportunity: Business Development Representative - Better Business Bureau Cincinnati, OH

As the Business Development Representative, you will have the opportunity to strengthen relationships with BBBs Accredited Businesses (ABs) by introducing ABs to BBB services and products designed to promote their businesses through digital outlets and other marketing/co-branding opportunities. You will be required to drive revenue by providing digital marketing services and products to both our new and existing Accredited Businesses (ABs).

Other responsibilities include,

Acquire new advertising business with ABs, upsell existing accounts, and retention of advertising spending while increasing AB satisfaction.
Sell digital advertising, billboards, and other opportunities to AB's.
Act as an account manager, maintaining professional relationships and providing excellent customer service from the point of sale and every touchpoint thereafter.
Maintain all aspects of internal controls for your AB clients to ensure BBB abides by its commitments to ABs.
Contribute to team efforts to accomplish organizational goals as relates to growing and retaining the AB client base.
Participate in events such as Business Trade shows and other BBB-sponsored events.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

The ideal candidate will be coachable, self-driven, and sales motivated. Other qualifications will include:

Minimum of one year of digital or B2B sales experience preferred.
Hunter mentality; unafraid to pick up the phone and make calls to build relationships to meet sales goals.
Demonstration of strong product knowledge and commitment to high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions.
Strong active listening skills with an ability to identify a prospects needs, propose solutions, and close sales.
Exception written and verbal communication skills with an ability to make professional presentations in person or on the telephone.
Strong time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills including Google Office and internet search tools.
