The AMS Management Office (AMO), is a business management office directly responsible for AMSs day-to-day activities and value proposition. Serving as the front office, the AMO steers the AMS organization to operate effectively as a services-based, business-oriented, and value focused service provider.
As part of the AMO, there is a need to deliver high-value & high-quality services in the form of Business Intelligence Reporting. This reporting function is responsible for ensuring a data accurate, sourced from truth service across the various reporting lines within the AMS (Application Management Services) Organization. Additionally, as our services reach expands we are finding ever evolving opportunities to provide standardize reporting to external IT Business Partners who frequently have similar requests for information.
This position will involve enhancing reports that are already strategically aligned on an as needed basis, retiring / deprecating legacy reporting that is no longer considered aligned, and addressing new reporting requests from stakeholders as received. This is a small team who is solely responsible for the BI function within the organization.

The Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on business data to support decision-making and drive business growth. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, designing and developing reports and dashboards, and providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
We will count on you to:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into actionable reports and dashboards.

Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

Extract and analyze data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data analysis and provide recommendations to improve business performance.

Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and identify areas for improvement.

Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.

Develop and maintain data models and data visualization best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy across different systems.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and reporting.


YOUR EXPERIENCE & VALUES


What you need to have:

3-5 years of experience in a large, complex global company, preferably in a division that fulfills a technology function, specifically in a BI position;

Strong verbal and written communication in both English and Romanian is vital;


Extensive experience in BI and analytics reporting, with a focus on Power BI (this is a technical, hands-on report development role;



Analytical skills to conduct complex analysis and proactively identify key business insights to assist in departmental decision-making;



Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills;



Strong attention to detail to spot inaccuracies in coding or data;


Experience working in an Agile environment;

Data visualization skills, including designing and developing key metrics, reports, and dashboards to drive insights and business decisions;

Familiarity with Qlik; currently, the reports under the team's responsibility are primarily Power BI-based, but there is a desire to convert them to Qlik over the next 1-2 years;

Experience with data structures using SQL;

Excellent communication and people-facing skills, as you will partner with leadership and collaborate with software engineers to implement data architecture, design, and support complex analysis;

Demonstrated skills in leadership, critical thinking, consensus building, and relationship building;

Ability to think logically, analyze, enhance workflow efficiencies, and problem-solve system issues;

Takes initiative in enhancing system productivity, functionality, and performance;

Excellent organization skills and the ability to multitask while efficiently completing high quality work;

Works independently and follows through on assignments but can also work cohesively within a team of dedicated BI professionals;
