Business Analyst (Remote) We have an immediate need for a contract Business Analyst to join our client, a national chain of convenience stores and gas stations. The Business Analyst serves as the liaison between the customer community and the software development team via clearly documented functional, system and process requirements. Location: Remote This job expects to pay about $38 – 40 per hour. What You Will Do:
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews, surveys, workshops, and document analysis to gather business requirements for the GRC application.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, security, compliance, and business units, to understand and prioritize their needs.
- Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), process flow diagrams, and use cases.
- Analysis: Analyze business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement in the GRC application.
- Solution Design: Work with the IT and development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Testing and Validation: Assist in the development of test cases and participate in testing activities to ensure the GRC application meets business requirements.
- Training and Support: Support the roll-out of the new or enhanced GRC application, including training end-users and providing post-implementation support.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that the GRC application supports compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
What Gets You The Job:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong preference for experience in risk management, compliance, or GRC projects.
- Strong understanding of GRC concepts and best practices.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead a project or group.
