PM Senior: Reporting to Director's office: DC Business Center transition into MS Business Portal, support for multiple agency projects.
Proficient in collaboration and productivity systems such as Google, Microsoft Applications, JIRA, and Azure DevOps Experience working in the High-Tech or government services sector preferred. Assist in the technical review process for proposals Support highly technical projects requiring extensive and specialized experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams to success Must be able to coordinate with multiple geographically separated units to include other DC government agencies such as OCTO Initiate and track the additional documentation required with contracting actions. Expedite the distribution and review of technical proposals in accordance with published evaluation criteria. Experience producing digital content (info graphics, video editing) for internal and external websites. Facilitate group discussions on proposal merits and coordinate the generation of consolidated technical review used to initiate contracting actions Initiate and track the additional documentation required with contracting actions.
The contractor will be required to work on-site for the first 90 days and will discuss a hybrid work schedule depending on performance, working remotely 1 day a week.
CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: 1. Leads team on large projects or significant segment of large complex projects. 2. Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components. 3. Provides applications systems analysis and programming activities for a Government site, facility, or multiple locations. 4. Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities and for necessary support resources. 5. Oversees all aspects of projects.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience; or a current PMP Certification
Skill 11-15 yrs. developing project scopes and plans 11-15 yrs. managing and tracking program progress against the project plan in an enterprise environment 11-15 yrs. preparing status reports 11-15 yrs. experience with MS Project or similar project planning software Bachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience Prepare multi-year and long-range work plans developed by the supervisors or managers of subordinate organizational units and subsequently manage Proficient in collaboration and productivity systems such as Google, Microsoft Applications, JIRA, and Azure DevOps Experience working in the High-Tech or Gov Services sector preferred.
