The primary function of the Operating Room Staff Nurse is that of a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability through the nursing process, for the surgical care of the patient and significant others in collaboration with other health care providers. Dependable critical thinkers with good computer skills that enjoy a fast paced environment are encouraged to apply. We are willing to train nurses that are seriously interested in learning how to circulate the OR. Completion of a peri-operative class is highly recommended.

Job Requirements:

Education - High School Diploma or EGD certification.
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
RN with active license in appropriate state
CPR certification
Evidence of leadership qualities.
Strong ethical and moral character references.
Language skills adequate for high level written, interpersonal and telephone communication in American English
Preferred:

ACLS/PALS certification required
ASC experience preferred.
Computer literacy
