AWS DevOps Engineer Location: Remote Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure components such as EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, RDS databases, and more. Implement and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy. Automate the deployment of applications, services, and updates across various environments. Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles to manage and provision resources using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. Maintain configuration consistency and version control for infrastructure components. Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch or third-party tools to ensure system performance and availability. Investigate and resolve incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures. Implement security best practices in AWS environments, including IAM policies, encryption mechanisms, and network security configurations. Collaborate with the security team to perform regular security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems and data stored on AWS. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and QA, to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
