The Human Resources Supervisor, under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, is responsible for conducting higher level day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant HR Department.
Responsibilities:
• Conducts talent acquisition for plant hourly roles. The incumbent actively markets, recruits, interviews, and hires for hourly plant positions. The incumbent onboards new employees through completion of all required paperwork and participation in the orientation program.
• Administers plant HR recordkeeping programs. The incumbent maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details. The incumbent similarly maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.
• Serves as plant HR representative. The incumbent maintains relationships with plant hourly employees and acts as a primary point-of-contact and resource for that population. The incumbent works closely with the HR Manager to maintain employee relations and serves as the Human Resources Manager’s backup when appropriate.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources OR Bachelor’s Degree plus two years of experience in human resources roles OR five plus years of progressive experience in human resources role(s)
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner.
• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook/other e-mail software.
