Principal, UK HR Transformation Consulting

The HR Transformation Solutions Principal will lead the UK HR Transformation offering and develop and implement innovation strategies, identify new business opportunities, drive sales efficiency and lead/influence cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge consulting solutions The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, operational prowess, ability to collaborate in a matrixed environment, and a passion for delivering market-leading solutions to our clients This role will have a focus on helping modernise the function of HR, through the lens of Digital HR Strategy, Activation, Deployment, and Continuous Improvement

We will rely on you to:
Commercial Excellence: Develop and ensure the availability of top-tier sales assets for priority solutions; identify new business opportunities and scale solutions based on project or client team feedback; introduce and adapt global solutions for the UK market with a focus on Digital HR and Generative AI offerings. Operational Efficiency: Streamline consulting service delivery through clear methodologies and workflows; implement technology-driven solutions, tools, and resources to enhance efficiency; emphasizing collaboration across the local and global Transformation teams. Intellectual Capital Development: Provide thought leadership and expertise in the consulting industry, positioning Mercer as an industry leader; introduce and adapt global thought leadership initiatives for the UK audience; drive content creation to build demand for UK HR Transformation solutions with a focus on Digital HR Brand Principalship: Collaborate with the UK Marketing team to ensure a leading brand presence; spearhead building local awareness of Mercers industry leading Digital HR Transformation products and services. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with Client Managers and Mercer Partners, ensuring they are informed, aligned, and successfully positioning our HR Transformation and Generative AI initiatives; act as a conduit for feedback, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs. Client & External Partner Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, serving as a trusted advisor in HR Transformation; engage directly with clients through events, webcasts, and advisory sessions; support sales and delivery teams in complex or emerging solution projects. Team leadership: Manage and mentor a team of consultants, fostering their growth and development.
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in a related field Extensive experience in HR Transformation solutions, consulting, or a related industry Background and prior work experience leading digital HR programs, including HR and Workforce Technology evaluation, design, and deployment. Strong project management and leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving innovation and efficiency Ability to engage with clients and build lasting relationships. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Proven business development skills.
