Job DescriptionJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Core Data Platform Service Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery and support of our core data platform services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of data platform solutions to meet the needs of our organization and our clients. This role will involve managing a team of engineers, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery processes. Responsibilities Lead a team of engineers responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of core data platform services. Define and establish service delivery processes, standards, and best practices to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of data platform solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and define project scope and objectives. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to. ensure timely and successful delivery of data platform projects. Manage the delivery of data platform solutions, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics, while ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status, issues, and risks. Drive continuous improvement in service delivery processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, security, and operations teams, to ensure the seamless integration and operation of data platform services. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous A degree in a relevant field is required. 5+ years of experience in IT service delivery management, with a focus on data platform services. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex data platform projects on time and within budget. Strong understanding of data management principles, including data modeling, data integration, data governance, and data security. Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Confluence. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex technical and business requirements. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines. Experience in the financial services or healthcare industry is preferred.
