Job Description:
Complete the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of plant facilities and equipment as required, including working with external contractors.
Conduct routine maintenance of production equipment to ensure the most efficient flow of production with the least possible downtime.
Ensures all electrical parts, wiring and equipment conform to electrical code requirements in a safe and efficient manner. · Support maintenance of spare parts list.
Work according to schedule made by production department and Maintenance Supervisor and ensure scheduler is aware when work assignments cannot be completed as planned.
Maintain detailed records of labour hours of unscheduled repairs and improvements and technical repairs when creating work orders.

Essential Qualifications:
General knowledge of blueprint reading.
Must own Toolbox/Tools to carry out tasks.

Desired Experience:
2-3 years of experience in a similar maintenance electrician role.
442A certificate
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Overhead crane, towmotor, aerial lifts and measuring devices (such as: micro meter, height indicator, etc.) experience is an asset.
