Principal Data Engineer - Snowflake and Databricks

Overview of the Company:
We are a leading organization based in Alpharetta, GA, seeking a Principal Data Engineer with experience in Snowflake and Databricks technologies. As a company, we prioritize scalable data processing systems and aim to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. We work with a team of onshore/offshore data engineers to manage our organization's data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable data management systems, with a focus on Snowflake and Databricks platforms.
- Ensuring systems meet business requirements, AT&T CDO, and industry best practices.
- Integrating emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
- Developing processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
- Collaborating with CDO architects, designers, and data scientists on various projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Significant experience in software engineering and data engineering roles, with a specific focus on Snowflake and Databricks.
- Strong understanding of databases and big data software technologies, particularly Snowflake and Databricks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Experience in coordinating with offshore data engineering teams.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to data, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Experience or knowledge in the Marketing domain is a plus.
