Description: HCA Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to work as Pharmacists with the FCC Forest City, Forrest City, AR. This is a contracted full- time position, between the hours of 6:00 am and 2:30 pm., normally consisting of six, one- hour sessions per day, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

The services performed by the Pharmacist shall include but is not limited to:

The function of this position is to provide a wide range of pharmacy services and administrative procedures that only a qualified licensed pharmacist can perform (e.g., medication interactions, patient education and pharmaceutical care).
All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the field of Pharmacist services, and compliance with all Federal and State policy and regulations.
Interpret physician and advanced practice provider prescription orders.
Enter prescription orders into the pharmacy computer and print prescription labels.
Select the correct medication and prepare the prescription.
Inventory medication and supplies.
Enter data for medications and supplies order in the prime vendor computer system.
Maintain minimum quantities on stock items and notify the institution pharmacist of items to order.
File all reports pertaining to the pharmacy, including patient records.
Dispense, administer and record entries for the required medication.
Possess a working knowledge and maintain technical computer skills pertaining to Pharmacy issues.
Must participate in Improving Organizational Performance Data and Quality Assurance Activities as directed by the Pharmacist or HSA.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
Refill and inventory of Pyxis machines & utilization of Scriptpro machine for dispensing, refilling and verification.

Requirements: Pharmacist Minimum Qualifications:

Current, unencumbered Pharmacist license in the state of Arkansas
A Valid Drivers License.
Proof of Pharmacy training
Proof of current TB test within the last year
Proof of all current vaccinations including COVID
Current CPR/BLS certification
