Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and implementing automated test solutions. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and product managers to identify test requirements, create test plans, and execute test cases across various stages of the software development lifecycle. This role requires strong programming skills, expertise in test automation frameworks, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Test Automation Development:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
Implement test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
Continuously enhance existing automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Test Planning and Execution:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product specifications and user stories.
Execute test cases manually and automatically to validate software changes and new features.
Defect Management:

Identify, report, and track software defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Conduct root cause analysis to prevent defect recurrence and improve overall product quality.
Continuous Integration and Deployment:

Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
Monitor test results and provide feedback to development teams on build quality and stability.
Participate in release activities to ensure smooth deployment of software releases.
Quality Assurance Best Practices:

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing.
Champion quality initiatives within the organization and promote a culture of excellence in software craftsmanship.
Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to foster professional growth and development.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and SDLC processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity) is a plus.
