The candidate is required to have sound knowledge of power electronics to design power sources based on MOSFET/IGBT/SCRs etc (link removed) Knowledge of digital control is desirable (link removed) Power sources for Plasma Cutting & Welding applications are required to be converted into digital control from analog control which are in use for quite some time. Sometimes existing circuits are required to be analysed for failures (link removed) Our power sources are from 10 Kw to 100 KW capacities. They have to be made energy efficient and power factor improvement is required to be done. Candidates having hands on experience in designing such power sources are required to apply.
