1. Create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children in the daycare.
2. Develop and implement daily lesson plans and activities that align with the developmental needs and interests of the children.
3. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive and inclusive daycare community.
4. Provide nurturing care to infants and young children, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines.
5. Observe and assess children's behavior, development, and progress, and communicate findings to parents and the daycare director as needed.
6. Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure the smooth operation of the facility, including assisting with meal preparation, cleaning, and maintaining supplies.
7. Support children's social and emotional development by encouraging positive behavior, resolving conflicts, and modeling appropriate social skills.
8. Plan and participate in age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, such as arts and crafts, storytime, games, and physical play.
9. Implement positive discipline strategies that promote self-control and respect for others.
10. Keep accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and incidents, and communicate with parents regarding their child's daily activities and development.
