Inventory Control Supervisor
You will be responsible for ensuring Inventory Controls are properly communicated and adhered to by the Mt. Pleasant inventory team, oversee a variety of reoccurring and ad-hoc reports related to stock levels, material status, and Inventory Controls as well as the front-line support for Inventory Operations whether it be directly performing, coordinating, or overseeing day-to-day inventory actions.
Your role will:
Manage cycle counts in accordance with defined frequencies; manage bin count process development and adherence; make sure that discrepancy investigations and escalations are executed appropriately and manage preparation and execution of annual full-physical inventory counts, when required. Work with site management to maintain the accuracy of information being reported; identify insufficiencies in the reporting and processes to propose solutions and then recommend procedure innovation and refinement as well as leading or assisting in internal and external audit request fulfillment. Talent acquisition, development, and retainment of team up to ten people. Act as SAP inventory processes subject matter expert; coordinate off-cycle inventory adjustments, as needed; ensure Delivery Holds (DH) are appropriately executed; coordination of localized Inventory Control aspects (ex. scrap, send for rework) of Business Integration Decisions and Activities (BIDAs) and facilitate scrap activities for local team to execute when appropriate. Review, approve, and escalate as necessary inventory adjustment requests and manage demand and resource availability.
You're the right fit if:
Youve acquired 5+ experience in Inventory Control or other Supply Chain discipline and 3+ years of transactional experience using SAP, warehouse managed environment preferred. Have the ability to travel up to 5%. Your skills include Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), critical thinking and investigative skills, ability to lift as much as 40 pounds, occasional travel up to 5% and forklift certification is a plus. You have a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain management, Operational Excellence, or related fields OR equivalent related experience. You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. Youre a strong leader with excellent organizational and communication skills.
