As SME for the media and entertainment industry, you will be responsible for bringing experience and leadership to help set the vision, mission, and strategy for our clients enterprise digital transformation initiatives. Donning this role, you will work with current and prospective clients to understand their business challenges, recommend the solution that would help achieve desired outcomes, convert this to a formal proposal that includes execution timeline and costs, present it to all stakeholders, and address all concerns, and ultimately ensure a win for Trianz. Post the closure, the responsibility will continue to help oversee the engagement and guide the delivery teams to achieve the promised results. The ideal candidate you will be responsible for bringing digital transformation in the cloud, data, and applications landscape for our media and entertainment clients technology ecosystem. As a key member of this engagement, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a secure, scalable, and efficient cloud infrastructure and supporting applications ecosystem for a media creation, access, storage, and management environment. You will translate customer conversations into requirements and then into conceptual architectures and finally into deliverable architectures. You must have a strong understanding and practical experience in planning and delivering cloud-native, virtual studios with a deep good understanding of key media and entertainment industry technologies and platforms such as A e Suite, Unreal Engine, Maya, 3D Studio Max, After Effects, Flame, etc. While the working knowledge of these tool sets is not necessary, the deployment, interoperability, and technology architecture are necessary. It is also important to be aware of tools and technologies that enable real-time rendering, accelerated outcomes in the post-production process, and use cases for Generative AI for automation and optimization. The role is highly visible and demands proven credentials and expertise in IT transformation, modernization, cloud migration, product ownership and management, and continuous process improvement. This role will also provide thought leadership in the areas of cloud migration, cloud operations, and related topics of digital and business transformation. Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure Design and Architecture: o Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into a comprehensive cloud infrastructure design for the media content products, access, management, and storage environment setup that align with the client's digital transformation goals. o Leverage new technology paradigms (e.g., serverless, containers, microservices) specifically tailored to the M&E industry, to design and architect a cloud infrastructure that empowers the clients media production, management, and storage capabilities o Optimize the infrastructure for real-time rendering, video processing, and content distribution, while ensuring seamless integration with media production applications and workflows. o Select appropriate AWS services and components to meet the specific needs of the M&E industry. Virtual Studio Platform Integration and Application Ecosystem: o Integrate various digital content creation suite of applications and tools required for media production, such as digital asset management systems, video editing software, game development engines virtual character creation systems, render management systems, 3D animation software, and compositing software. o Collaborate with media production teams to understand their requirements and workflows and configure these tools to ensure seamless integration and collaboration within the virtual studio environment. o Collaborate with application development teams to integrate these tools seamlessly within the virtual studio environment. o Design and implement an application ecosystem that enables efficient collaboration, version control, and content sharing across different media production disciplines. o Optimize the performance of these tools, considering factors such as rendering speed, real-time editing capabilities, and efficient asset management. Scalable Storage and Asset Management: o Design, architect, and implement a scalable storage solution for digital media assets, considering different storage types, data organization strategies, and access patterns to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of media assets within the virtual studio. o Define and implement a robust digital asset management system that enables efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of media assets within the virtual studio. o Ensure data integrity, metadata management, and access controls for the media asset repository. Security and Access Controls: o Develop and implement security measures to protect digital assets, including encryption, access controls, and data privacy. o Establish secure connectivity between the virtual studio and external networks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Workflow Optimization and Automation: o Analyze and optimize media production workflows to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and accelerate time-to-market. o Identify opportunities for automation and implement workflow automation solutions to reduce manual effort and enhance productivity. o Integrate workflow management tools and collaboration platforms to facilitate seamless coordination and communication among team members. Performance Optimization: o Optimize the cloud infrastructure to deliver high-performance and low-latency capabilities for media processing and rendering tasks. o Implement caching mechanisms, content delivery networks (CDNs), and other performance-enhancing techniques to ensure smooth and responsive media playback and distribution. o Conduct performance testing and optimization to deliver optimal user experiences for media consumers and stakeholders. Cost Optimization: o Develop cost optimization strategies by leveraging AWS pricing models, instance types, and on-demand/off-demand scaling capabilities. o Monitor resource utilization and make recommendations for cost-effective infrastructure provisioning. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: o Design and implement a robust disaster recovery plan to ensure the continuity of operations and data protection in case of unforeseen events or system failures. o Establish backup and recovery mechanisms for critical media assets and production workflows. Collaborative Teamwork and Documentation: o Storyboard and discuss new designs and solutions with project teams and other stakeholders o Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and media production professionals, to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the virtual studio environment. o Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, operational procedures, and best practice guidelines. o Ensure alignment between customer expectations and internal capabilities that can be leveraged to address customer problems Qualifications Education: Bachelors in Technology / Masters in Technology Key Skills & Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing cloud and virtual studio solutions for the media and entertainment industry and particularly on digital transformation engagements Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and deep understanding of AWS services.
