Role: Sr. React developer Location: Washington, DC Duration: 12 months contract Job ID: CFSA - SME- React senior developer- 714017 Client: DC Govt, Agency: CFSA Interview Process: video and/or In person interview (3 days a week on site is required Must be local to DC,VA,MD) As a React senior developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing customized solutions using React. This includes coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating, modifying and troubleshooting.This React Senior Developer position is in the Child and Family Services Agency who will develop a new application for the agency. The candidate will need to be able to participate in meetings from 8:30am-5:30pm eastern time zone. Deep knowledge (7 years) of React is required with at least two years working with Next.js. Other desired skills are knowledge of Typescript and cloud hosting such as Azure or AWS. Interact with clients to understand complex business requirements Create functional requirement and design for customizations Accurately estimate level of effort for implementation tasks Review developer proposed implementation and identify efficient designs Work with Delivery architects, Technical Leads and developers to ensure access and security profiles meet the needs of the Agency, including verifying that the policies/restrictions in place. Collaborate with Delivery architects, Technical Leads and developers to perform code reviews Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills. Education and Professional Qualifications 11-15. yrs as SME in complex enterprise level development projects Bachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience 7 years experience in Development using React 11 years experience with Use of Various JavaScript (ES6) and libraries 7 years of experience Developing applications that consume APIs like REST or JSON API 7 years of experience Developing JWT tokens as it relates to authentication for login and consuming APIs 7 years of experience Developing HTML, CSS3 and associated web standards 2 years of experience Developing Next.js Minimum Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience The candidate may occasionally be asked to attend in-person meeting.
