Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to manage store tasks like inventory management, cleanliness, signage placement, and aesthetics.
Make sure customers have a positive shopping experience by overseeing sales processes.
Provide assistance to customers, whether instore or over the phone, regarding topics such as staff interactions, product details, and returns.
Handle complex customer service situations professionally and tactfully.
Provide assistance in managing the checkout area, including payment processing such as cash, debit cards, and credit cards.
Approve non-standard payment methods like cheques and oversee merchandise returns.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to ensure a well-stocked store.
Generate daily reports detailing sales trends and product performance.
Participate in the recruitment of new team members and supervise their onboarding and sales training.
Convene regular team huddles to review store performance, address customer insights, and strategize workflow enhancements.
Guarantee a consistent and appealing store appearance in line with visual display guidelines and promotional activities.
Enforce measures to deter theft and fraudulent activities.
Carry out any other responsibilities essential to the store's efficient functioning.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience required
Completion of Secondary School.
Demonstrated experience in retail sales.
Supervisory experience would be an asset but not mandatory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
Customer service oriented.
