VAM Systems is currently looking for Senior Network Engineer for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Key Responsibilities
• Implement LAN/WAN infrastructure and interconnect systems from multiple vendors to ensure optimal performance.
• Configure networking devices as required by the Network Architect.
• Assign and set up telephones for end-users.
• Support AVP-Network & Systems in managing IT networking projects from inception to completion.
• Track and monitor the system to ensure minimal service interruptions and high performance.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot problems pertaining to the Network Infrastructure.
• Install and patch devices with recommended vendor or security updates/patches.
• Support in documenting all relevant practices and procedures as recommended by management.
• Collate information and metrics of all network-related metrics.
• Develop skills and acquire additional knowledge appropriate to the position on an ongoing basis.
• Stay abreast with the latest updates significant to the area of work.
• Preserve confidentiality, integrity, and availability of processed and handled information.
• Adhere to information security policies/processes/program.
• Report any security breaches or incidents promptly
