Industrial Electrician

We are currently looking for an Industrial Electrician for a food manufacturing facility located in Toronto.

Applicant must be able willing to work any shift, including night shift.

Applicant should have completed an apprenticeship program & certified as 309A and /or 442A Electrician in Ontario.

Prefer candidate also have a College CET.

Job Functions:

• Perform preventative Maintenance according to specifications, instructions of Maintenance Management.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, the building and all of its components.
• Design and build electrical panels for machinery.
• Design and build electrical circuits to improve the performance of equipment and machinery.

Requirements:

• Industrial Electrician license.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Food Plant Manufacturing environment.
• Trouble shooting skills for Electrical & Mechanical problems
• Understanding of electrical circuitry
• Knowledge of PLC’s, maintenance shop machinery, and electronics 
• Knowledge of building wiring and CSA codes as it applies to an Industrial establishment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to lift and move heavy machinery.
• Ability to work at heights, heat, cold, and within guidelines of Occupational Health & Safety.

Monday to Friday.

PAY: $38.90 per hour with $1.20 shift premium for night shift
