Design, construction, testing, optimization, and operational support of Compliance Analytics initiatives. Define reporting strategies to optimize the use of enterprise data to meet business objectives. Evaluate and make recommendations related to reporting components utilized in the enterprise data warehouse and overall information delivery solution. Participate with business analysts to gather requirements, produce technical specifications in a MS SQL Server environment performing all software development lifecycle phases related to the business intelligence application environment. Create reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Write complex SQL queries against SQL server database to validate reports. Provide performance tuning and maintenance of existing reports and cubes. Participate in definition of database requirements. Analyze existing models and reports to improve efficiency and resolve technical problems. Utilize business intelligence methodologies including those requiring complex SQL coding to ensure proper visualization and presentation of enterprise data to satisfy analytical, decision support, and operational reporting needs. Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical designs for delivery of reporting solutions. Full-time telecommuting permitted.
Three years of experience developing applications for healthcare analytics, business analytics, or data analytics. Must have experience with or knowledge of: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); MS SQL Server environment; Business Intelligence (BI) application environment; Software development lifecycle (SDLC); PL/SQL and T-SQL; Tableau; Alteryx, SPSS, TOM, and Python.
Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering
