Marketing & Business Development Coordinator For prominent law firm focused on the legal issues concerning technology, eDiscovery, information governance, data privacy, and data security. *Fully Remote but must live within commuting distance to northern virginia office. May be required to go into the office 1-2 times a month.

This position is remote but requires availability to work in the Northern Virginia office for occassional department meetings. **Must have at least 1 year of law firm marketing/BD experience.

This position works closely with and reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing & Communications Manager. This role supports the marketing, communications, and business development activities and includes a full range of marketing, communications, and business development activities, including website, social media, CRM, research and analysis, data entry, events, strategic project support, pitches and presentations, and other related activities. Candidates must be located in the Washington, DC Metro area.
Duties: Assist with implementation of marketing and business development plans and initiatives, including maintaining systems to track initiatives. Support the Marketing team with organizing and executing in-person and virtual events, seminars, webinars, receptions, sponsorships, and attorney speaking engagements (includes invites, agenda preparation, materials management, RSVPs, website presence, external sponsors, etc. Maintain the client relationship management (CRM) system by reviewing/curating targeted mailing lists for various marketing campaigns and client programming, recording activities such as client meetings, updating current contact information, conducting regular database audits, and executing other meaningful back-end data entry projects. Maintain business development lists and reports in CRM that are required for BD pipeline, plan results, and tracking. Conduct BD and competitive research/analysis, including issuing comprehensive summaries of findings. Track incoming work and referrals, business development successes, opportunity outcomes, and targeting efforts. Assist with the drafting/project management of directory submissions and other practice or industry-specific rankings. Maintain publication editorial calendars and submission tracking. Assist with developing pitches and proposals, including drafting marketing-related content, managing the editing process, and supporting the formatting of deliverables. Assist with budget management.

Position Requirements: Bachelors degree required. 2+ years of experience in marketing, business development in a law firm required. Strong time management skills. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize short and long-term project deadlines. Attention to detail, ensuring a high quality product. Good systems and database skills, including CRM applications.

Salary Range:$65,000.00 To 90,000.00 Annually, depending on experience.
