5 to 6 month internship based in the Ansys Lyon office, for a student registered in a French university of engineering school at master level. Familiarity with DevOps and Cloud required (AWS & Azure)




Summary / Role Purpose

Join the Cloud team to enable the seamless integration and deployment of end-to-end vertical workflows (solution applications) within the Customer Service Portal (cloud-native platform). In this role, you will collaborate with Senior Software Architects to identify the optimal architectural approach and you will be responsible for connecting the workflows services with the cloud-native platform.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


Understand the standard microservices stateless architecture of solution applications and the cloud environment provided by Customer Service Portal.

Collaborate with senior architects to contribute to the design and architecture phase, exploring various architectural designs and selecting the most suitable approach.

Develop interfaces, connections, tools, scripts, and CI/CD workflows to facilitate reliable and robust deployment of web applications.

Implement a high level of automation to streamline deployment processes.

Prepares, configures, deploys, and maintains build agents.

Works with ITto maintainDevOps infrastructure.

Works closely with development to adjust builds and packaging to changing requirements.

Operates under direct supervision with work subject to frequent review by more experienced staff or DevOps Manager


Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience


Pursuing a MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and in their ultimate year of study.

Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.

Familiarity with DevOps concepts and methodologies.

Basic knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Motivated to learn. Strong problem solving, communication and time management skills.

Demonstrated skills in writing, understanding, and presenting in fluent English.


Preferred Qualifications and Skills


Prior experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, etc...

Prior experience in infrastructure as a code technology such as Ansible, Terraform.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Basic understanding of buildmanagementand continuous integration software

Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems

Knowledge of programming languages Python

Knowledge of scripting languages PS, Bash, etc.

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team.
