R_263256 Senior Client Executive/Broker, US Wholesale Construction Practice
This is an opportunity to build, and lead, a London book of US wholesale business, this is an amazing chance to foster existing, and build new, relationships with Marshs US network to increase the flow of US business to London.

Join a busy environment with an experienced and supportive team including account handling, broking, claims and placing instructions.
Work closely with some of our major clients, developing an in-depth knowledge of their business and managing their insurance needs as well as developing good client relationships.
Build on existing insurance and industry knowledge and manage relationships with our broking and claims teams along with other support colleagues.

We will rely on you to:


Day to day service:

Contract reviews review of indemnity and insurance provisions of wide variety of construction contracts
Client presentations
Provide technical insurance advice on a wide variety of challenges that face our clients daily
Develop bespoke programme structures and craft policy wordings.

Place business:

Collect and analyse risk information (and claims data for annuals) and produce underwriting submissions.
Plan broking strategy and broke in the UK and International markets (in conjunction with our market leading broking team) to assess the responses from lead insurers and/or follow markets as applicable
Issue documentation including agreed wordings, placing slips, endorsements, insurance manuals etc

New Business:

Identify new business opportunities
Secure new business in conjunction with our business development team and the Marsh network.


What you need to have:

Significant insurance handling/broking experience within Construction Clients or large corporate clients
Knowledge / experience of construction related insurance
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
Excellent communication skills and confidence to develop strong relationships with senior level client contact points
Knowledge of Annual insurance programmes and previous involvement in major projects
Technical competence in CAR/DSU classes of insurance
