A market leading specialty business servicing all aspects of the construction and infrastructure sector both in the UK and overseas.
Our client base includes major construction and engineering companies as well as large industrial groups and property investors.
What can you expect:
Exposure major project insurance placements within the international construction sector specialising in power and mining Become a member of a close-knit team of dedicated construction insurance specialists who provide an outstanding service to the construction industry Industry focused insurance and technical training from the markets leading construction insurance professionals Work in a busy environment with an experienced and supportive team. Work closely with major clients and also network offices providing both quasi retail and wholesale support. Build on your existing insurance and industry knowledge and manage relationships with our broking and claims teams along with other support colleagues.

We will rely on you to:
Work with clients and colleagues to meet every facet of our clients/projects insurance needs, the task will vary greatly but could include:
Pre-binding:
Contract reviews review of indemnity and insurance provisions of wide variety of construction contracts Provide technical insurance advice on a wide variety of challenges that face our clients daily Assist with budgeting and preparation of underwriting submissions Develop program structure and craft policy terms
Place business:
Planning broking strategy with clients or network offices and broke in the UK and International markets (in conjunction with our market leading broking team) to attain lead terms and/or support to lead terms Issue documentation including agreed wordings, placing slips, endorsements, insurance manuals and minutes of meetings
New Business:
Identify new business opportunities Secure new business in conjunction with our business development team
What you need to have:
Handling/broking experience within Construction Clients or large corporate clients Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines Excellent communication skills and confidence to develop strong relationships with senior level client contact points Technical competence in CAR/TPL/DSU classes of insurance
