The ED is not a trauma center. Therefore an ED RN only interested in trauma won't be happy here. However, it is a very busy and interesting ED. This hospital is located downtown Eugene near the University of Oregon. The patient population is made of students and our transient population. There tends to be a frequency of psych patients as we do have an in patient psych facility at this hospital. The RN who works here and thrives really must connect with our Mission. It's very mission oriented work.

Wage is based on years of experience as a RN. Generous differentials for evening and weekend shift and advanced education (ie CEN, BSN).

Equipped to deal with any life-threatening emergency seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
