Buyer (West Palm Beach, FL): Review and track the status of purchase contracts and orders for a pizza restaurant based on business criteria and product specifications. Negotiate purchase terms, ensure timely deliveries, and evaluate supplier performance. Calculate costs of orders and charge invoices to appropriate accounts. Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best buying options among potential suppliers. Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers. Check shipments to ensure that orders have been filled properly and that goods meet specifications. Ensure inventory quantities are sufficient and perform buying duties when necessary.

Requirements: 2 years of experience as Buyer, Procurement Clerk, Purchasing Assistant, or related position. Experience improving and coordinating supplier relationships. Experience analyzing price proposals for procurement activities and tracking orders and contract status. Experience tracking inventory and restocking products. Experience conducting quantity and quality control of sourced products.
