Responsible for working with business owners and technical staff to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and determine appropriate changes. Focus on understanding the business needs of the internal customer and on diagnosing data-related problems. Assist in requirements gathering and project leadership. Drive the analysis, design, and development of the solution. Write detailed descriptions of user needs and program functions. Assist in technical design documentation. Lead training and auditing sessions and communicate effectively with the IT management team. Interact with Revenue and Operations end-users to gather requirements for Billing, Collections, and Cash management systems. Accountable for documented requirements and functional specifications. Develop and maintain committed dates, milestones, and deliverables. Manage the scope of projects within budgetary constraints. Status reporting. Facilitate application design sessions and work the development team during the development phase. Coordinate with QA and ensure User Acceptance Testing. Assist with quality assurance tasks, including test plans documentation, test data preparation, defect tracking/resolution, root cause analysis and resolution. Assist with system implement and rollout. User documentation and user training. Production support. Data analysis, including some data mining activities.
Position requires minimum of a bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering and Management, Business Management or related field and a minimum of five years of experience in the job or performing similar job duties specifically working on software development projects across various domains (can be combined) Healthcare, Insurance, and Retail. Job located in Brentwood, TN, and any unanticipated locations throughout the United States. 40 hours per week; $113,651 to $120,651 per year.
