Plan the menu of desserts and pastry to complement savory items.
Weighingand measuring ingredients.
Decorating pastries and other desserts using a variety of different sauces, toppingsand other items.
Contributing ideas to the menu.
Keeping accurate records. Ensure the kitchen is clean andsanitized at all times.
Oversee a team of junior pastry cooks and other staff members as necessary.
Operatinga variety of kitchen equipment. Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment. Maintain up to dateknowledge about pastry arts and ingredients.
Carry out administrative duties to maintain an efficientworkspace.
