The Department of Civil Engineering in the College of Engineering, University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a full-time NTT position with the rank of Assistant Professor of Instruction.
Applicants must possess a doctorate in Civil Engineering by the date of appointment.
Duties include:
Responsible for teaching lectures, issuing assignments, conducting exams and assigning grades for graduate and undergraduate level course in the field of Civil Engineering; may conduct cutting edge research in the field of Civil Engineering, develop externally funded research programs resulting in publications in top tier journals and conference; attend and present at conferences across the US and world; supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students; serve on departmental, college, and university committees to improve department outreach; performs administrative duties within the department.
