Flexible Architecture and Simplified Technology, Inc (FAST) seeks a Business Config Analyst II in Jersey City, NJ.

Duties: Perform product design, development, bug correction, verification and release testing on application software projects which require research and analysis. Involve in building systems for insurance clients that cover end to end automated workflow in new business, case management & policy administration functional areas of insurance application. Meet with product owners and business analysts for requirements gathering to evaluate objectives and goals and lay a FAST product solution road map to satisfy clients requirements. Suggest processes to eliminate manual intervention and come up automated processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time in business processes. Implement system integrations with various heterogenous software systems/applications for seamless flow of business operations. Provide detailed customer support to internal and external customers; proactively solves issues from the customer’s perspective by effectively communicating issues, potential solutions, and results to appropriate levels and escalates appropriate issues to the correct level(s) in a timely manner. Enhance test automation framework to bring more functionalities under automated test coverage for system stability & validation. Work extensively in agile methodology for application design & development to reduce turnaround time in delivering solutions and implement solutions in fail safe manner. Implement solutions in phased manner for optimal results through sprint delivery model.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 3 years of related experience. Requires 2 years of experience in the following: 1) Insurance and all Line of Business (Term Life, Whole Life, Universal Life and Annuities). 2) SDLC and AGILE/SCRUM development processes. 3) Automated tests in TDD or BDD frameworks. Requires 1 year of experience of following: 4) Problem solving and bug fixing during post-production phase. 5) providing solutions in system usage to minimize impact for the clients. 6) Converting business requirements into technical specifications.
