Insurance Services Office, Inc. seeks a Data Engineer II in Jersey City, NJ.

Duties:

Create design, develop, deploy, and maintain ETL solutions. Write efficient and highly performant SQL. Interact with OLTP and OLAP databases. Create and maintain Dimensional Models to answer the needs of insurance industry with regards to claims fraud, claims handling and triage support for underwriting. Maintain multiple data source types. Architect data pipelines and ETL for data models and DataMart population that adhere to industry standards. Integrate data from multiple sources across internal and external sources. Work within the Agile methodology and aide Data Science teams in the development of machine learning algorithms and model training.

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; plus 3 years of related experience. Requires 3 years of experience in the following:1) Object-oriented programing and design patterns; 2) Python; 3) Database technologies MySQL (Aurora), PostgreSQL, Oracle, S3, Redshift, Snowflake or equivalent; 4) Version control systems (GIT); 5) AWS server less services including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Step Functions; and 6) Business Intelligence platforms including Spotfire, Tableau, and Power BI.
