Conduct laboratory bio-safety analysis across the company’s intake, processing, and finished production cycle, spear-heading the development of preliminary research in the area of company product effectiveness; develop validation in all protocols for various environmental controls and maintaining accurate compliance records, identify microbial risks through comprehensive sample analysis, and implementing preventative practices; regularly review pertinent literature, as well as the findings of other researchers, and attending conferences, to ensure thorough understanding of the latest developments in the field; study various cultures of microorganisms in isolation according to standard inhibition and ensuring control over moisture and temperature; performing ATP swabbing for pathogens on product samples, and analyzing resultant microbial growth issues;
prepare technical reports based on research findings and making recommendations to improve processes and reduce microbial and pathogenic risks.


REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.

SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. 40 hours per week

SALARY:
$104,437 per annum
