Lead Technical Managers (multiple positions available) to work with the CEO to define and lead product execution strategy for multiple areas of products and platforms. Identify new technologies that can help the company to improve its operations; develop a roadmap for technology investments and ensure that technology decisions are aligned with the company's overall vision. Manage the technical team responsible for developing and implementing technology solutions by setting performance goals and objectives and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including the CEO, board members, and investors by presenting technical information in a clear and concise manner, developing reports and presentations that summarize technical information, and explaining the implications of technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders. Use agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban to manage software development projects and identify and manage technical risks that may impact the company's operations. Build and lead a team of engineers during our period of growth while forging tight partnerships with cross-functional leaders (sales and marketing) to understand customer requirements. Conduct code review and provide feedback on code design changes using tools including Gerrit, Bitbucket and GitHub. Responsible for building the IT team structure and optimize it for execution, including attracting and hiring top-tier talent and filling out gaps in the existing team quickly to accommodate growth. Apply Software Quality Assurance Testing methodologies and writing quality test cases that cover all edge cases using JS testing tools including Jest, Junit, Karma and TestNG. Manage from the front, prioritize, and drive the bigger mission forward by translating vision into results. Write code in Python frameworks to deliver Java, JavaScript SDK and HTML templates using Content Delivery Network for reducing latency across the world. Train the engineering team on using agile tools including JIRA, Confluence and Trello as well as technologies to be used for developing Jarviss applications including Kubernetes, Docker, TensorFlow, Azure, GCP and Apache Beam. Serve as an evangelist for the team and overall culture, both internally and externally. Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products using Google Analytics and Jarvis ML SDK. Understand Jarvis MLs strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry. May Telecommute. Will travel 5% US & Intl to meet with team members and customers.
Experience must have included Writing code in programming languages including Python, Java, and JavaScript; Use of TensorFlow, GCP, Azure; Conducting design and code reviews and providing feedback on code and design changes using tools including Gerrit, Bitbucket, and GitHub; Writing test cases for software using tools including Jest, Junit, Karma and TestNG; Using agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban to manage software development projects; Use of technologies including Kubernetes, Docker and Apache Beam; and Use of agile tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Trello.
Requires Masters (or educ. equiv.) Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and three (3) yrs. experience in job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, will allow for Bachelors (or educ. equiv.) Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and five (5) yrs. (post-degree, progressive) experience in job offered or related occupation.
