French Teacher

Job Requirements
Proficiency across all aspects of the French language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Familiarity with teaching French at local elementary and secondary schools, covering Core French, Intensive French, French Immersion, and Francophone Program.
Possesses certification in French proficiency through TEF/TCF. Original certificate is required for the interview, with a copy retained for reference.
Familiar with the North American education system.
Previous experience as a DELF examiner is advantageous.
AP-level proficiency in French is preferred.

Qualifications
1.Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Education, French, etc.) with relevant education experience.
2.Strong command of French concepts across Kindergarten to Grade 12 levels.
3.Familiarity with the curriculum and assessment requirements of AP, TEF/TCF, and DELF programs.
4.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
5.Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.
6.Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.
7.Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.
Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction and communication.
8.Ease of Commute: Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis.
9.Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience.
10.Teaching Certification: Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.
11.Fluent in English.

Job Details:
Job Types: part-time.
Salary: $22.00-$35.00 per hour.

Schedule:
On call.
Monday to Friday during after-school and evening hours
Weekend availability
(The teaching schedule may be different during school holidays)
