Job Opportunity Entry Level Automotive Technician (we will train!) with Glick Management in Cincinnati, OH

Do you have strong mechanical skills, or would you like to develop strong mechanical and auto body repair skills? Do you have a passion for working on automobiles? Are you a self-starter who takes great pride in your workmanship? If yes, we would like to speak with you!

As an Entry Level Automotive Technician with Glick Management, you will assist with vehicle repair that includes performing mechanical, fabrication, and body work. You will disassemble and reassemble vehicles as outlined on repair orders, as well as replace damaged body parts back to pre-damaged condition.

If you are comfortable changing a transmission or engine, we are willing to train you on the auto body repair work. All specialty tools are provided along with All Data. A lift is available for each employee in a clean, organized, 13,000 square foot shop.

Work Hours:

Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm during training period. After training period, a minimum of an eight-hour day with flexible start-time between 6:30am and 8:00am. No weekends!

Pay:

During training period hourly rate of $25.00/hour. After training period - flat rate-based pay. No paid overtime. The average pay of current employees in this position is between $27.00 to $40.00/hour based on experience and ability to learn.

To be successful in this position you will have:

General mechanical knowledge
Must have own tools
Valid drivers license
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Trade school or mechanical certificates a plus
ASE certificates a plus

Glick Management is a medium sized used car dealership and salvage yard that repairs damaged vehicles for resale with locations in Amelia and on Kellogg Ave. We are growing and need to add several team members to assist with vehicle repair that includes performing mechanical, fabrication, and body work.
