Department: Medical Clinic Days and Shifts: Full-time position Mainly Monday Friday from 8 AM 5 PM Varied hours: up to 36-40 hours per week Works Saturday (8 AM 12 PM) and Sunday (11 AM 3 PM), as needed. Description: Assists the Physician and/or Physicians Assistant, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in providing patient care to the clinic patients as directed. Relates effectively with other staff for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relations with other departments of Health Center, participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills. Facilitates a friendly, efficient, professional atmosphere within the office. Assists in the operations of the clinic as directed and maintains clinic in proficient and efficient manner. Requirements Educational/Experience: Current AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants) Certification, Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse licensure, or Current Iowa Registered Nurse licensure Healthcare Provider BLS certification Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification required within 6 months of employment. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well. Computer literate Microsoft Office and able to learn additional software programs.
