Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual Software Web Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Manual Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our web-based software applications. You will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and providing valuable feedback to our development team.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute manual test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of web-based software applications.
2. Perform exploratory testing to uncover usability issues, edge cases, and potential bugs.
3. Collaborate closely with software developers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.
4. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
5. Reproduce reported issues and conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying problems.
6. Provide clear and concise feedback to the development team regarding the quality of the software.
7. Participate in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
8. Conduct regression testing to ensure that software updates and enhancements do not introduce new issues.
9. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process by proposing innovative ideas and solutions.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
3. Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, or TestRail is a plus.
4. Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
