Who you are

You are a curious person with a keen eye for detail. You are always learning and want to know the most up-to-date information. You are tech savvy and always trying to find more efficient ways to complete a process or identify a new tech tool to make things simpler. You thrive on managing multiple priorities and are comfortable with shifting priorities throughout the day. You possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and are able to build strong professional relationships with others.

Working alongside the team to provide research support, your duties include organizing a platform of comprehensive commercial real estate market data, partnering with marketing to present materials to win new business, responding to inquiries from advisors, and training advisors and staff on how to use research resources. The Research Associate collaborates with the marketing team and partners with advisors to develop materials to inform clients about the market in pitches and regular touchpoints.


What you bring

At least 1+ years experience in a research, market analysis or related role in commercial real estate.
Bachelors degree in a related field (Business, Economics, Statistics)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Strong analytical skills and experience using a research database (Costar, LoopNet)


Bonus skills and experience

Experience in ArcGIS or other GIS software is a plus


What success looks like

You will collect and organize diverse real estate information and data from a variety of sources including news stories, conversations with advisors, and research databases. Share collected information with relevant parties throughout the office
You can track market activity using internal and external resources. Provide company and industry research using on-line and in-house resources.
You will write quarterly market reports and other summaries of market information for potential clients
Assist advisors with listing presentations by participating in planning meetings and providing market analysis, statistics and direct research support
Train advisors and staff in use of research applications such as Costar, Real Capital Analytics, and proprietary database tools
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you can use your amazing multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines with uncompromised ethics/integrity.
