Who you are:


As a Commercial Real Estate Sales team summer intern, you will collaborate on the daily operation of the teams business, expanding your knowledge in all aspects of commercial leasing, marketing, and sales not to mention a unique combination of financial and research skills.


What you will bring:

Currently enrolled as a college junior or senior pursuing a degree in Business and or Commercial Real Estate or pursuing an advanced degree.
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and strong process orientation.
Excellent research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Excellent ability to plan, organize and work multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ultimately, you bring a passion for real estate, strong intellectual capabilities, and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.


Bonus skills and experience

Previous experience working within a real estate environment.
Experience working within a professional services environment.


What success looks like:

You will be heavily involved in research and pulling contact information for land, sites and building for broker cold calls to prospect for new business and leads.
You will research data for an offering memorandum (OM) from various sources and pull the data to put in the OM.
You will write ad-hoc summaries and reports (investment rationale, highlights, market summaries).
You will pull rent and sale comparable and provide market analysis for business development.
You will maintain company databases to track prospects and business opportunities.
You will walk buildings and update competitive stacks.
You will scrub lease comp lists for duplicates.
You will coordinate supporting materials for offer packages and review proposals, leases, and related documents.
You will analyze and underwrite financials to provide reports on a timely basis.
You will bring a great attitude in learning the business and local marketplace by attending local business and industry events, networking, and participating in client meetings.
