Production Support Specialist - Commercial Card and Merchant Service PlatformJob Description:As a Production Support Specialist within the Enterprise Payments portfolio, your role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of Commercial Card and Merchant Service Platform applications and payment integrations. Key responsibilities include:Providing L1 and L2 support for user queries, file processing, and implementing solutions for recurring issues. This involves analyzing code to fix problems (link removed)teracting with clients and vendor partners daily to ensure Business-As-Usual (BAU) processes run smoothly.Monitoring the application's health and promptly informing stakeholders of any issues or findings.Prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines consistently.Coordinating meetings with offshore teams and Lines of Businesses (LOBs) regularly.Monitoring incident queues to ensure timely completion of Incident Management (IM) and Service-Now requests within SLAs.Adhering to change management processes for new changes and conducting validations and system checks post-production deployment.Collaborating with multiple vendors to address file transmission and data issues.Addressing vulnerabilities, variances, and findings promptly related to the supported applications.Primary Technical Skill Set:Proficiency in Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, DB2, and Unix shell scripting.Ability to zip and unzip files in a mainframe environment.Secondary Technical Skill Set:Familiarity with SQL, ETL (Ab-Initio), and the basics of Google Cloud.Knowledge of Transmission tools such as BizLink and NDM is advantageous.Bonus Skills and Tools:Experience with Tivoli, Java, and SQL in Banking, card processing, and merchant payments.Experience Requirement:8 to 9 years of relevant experience in a similar role.This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
