TRN Systems is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Data Analyst for our client, a state government agency, as they progress through the modernization of a claims processing system. The system to be modernized was developed in the late 90s and is a client-server relational database using Oracle Forms and Reports (PL SQL, Pro C), an Oracle database and FileNet. Position Responsibilities: Developing data mapping documentation/diagrams Creating business, logical, and physical data models Participating in data mapping and data conversion in coordination with the States technical team and program area staff Creating data analytics and statistical modeling on existing data sets in various areas of business Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources Filtering and cleaning data Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities Working with Vendor and/or State staff to understand Data Integration, Data Mapping, Data Conversion and Implementation Position Requirements: Bachelors Degree Experience working with State or Federal Governments is a plus Experience working with legacy systems, including Oracle Forms and Reports (PL SQL, Pro C0 and FileNet Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft-based office applications and SharePoint Demonstrated experience on enterprise data migration and conversion projects and teams Ability to analyze existing artifact rules and provide solutions to meet the future needs of the agency Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a self-directed manner to accomplish objectives Demonstrated ability to be organized and multi-task; establish and follow priorities
