Commercial Driver - Class A/B - Moffett/Conveyor/Tractor Daycab

Position Summary

If you know anything about the construction business, you know that getting the right products to the right site on time and safely is the benchmark of success. We are Team Convoy, we are a distributor of construction materials, we supply roofing, building envelope and below grade materials and we want folks with great people skills on our team because, in the end – people make all the difference.

 We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated Class A/B CDL Driver for our Kent, WA location at 19041 80th Avenue S. who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Inspect truck and/or trailer daily
• Load and unload materials
• Ensure load securement including the installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport
• Match shipments to sales invoices
• Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service
• Operate truck and equipment safely

Requirements

• Class A/B Driver’s License
• Clean CVOR abstract
• Passionate about great service & teamwork
• Prefer a minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Experience in the construction/roofing business would be an asset
• Ability to drive trucks with a manual transmission
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Pride in being on time, self-sufficient, and able to provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service
• Read and write in English, spoken Spanish is an asset
