Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Vice President - Merchant Banking. As the Vice President, you will play a crucial role in managing our merchant banking activities, including identifying and executing investment opportunities, fostering relationships with clients, and driving the growth and profitability of our portfolio. Responsibilities Lead the merchant banking team and oversee all investment activities, ensuring alignment with the. company's goals and objectives Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, conducting thorough due diligence and financial analysis Manage the entire execution process throughout the IPO life cycle Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes Collaborate with internal departments, such as legal, finance, and risk management, to ensure smooth transaction execution and compliance with regulations Stay up-to-date with market trends and industry developments, anticipating investment opportunities and risks Requirements Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred Minimum of 6 years of experience in merchant banking, investment banking, or a similar role Proven track record of successfully executing investment transactions and generating profitable returns Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills, with a strong understanding of investment principles and risk analysis Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and mentor a team In-depth knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously Employement Category:Employement Type: Full time Industry: Others Role Category: Finance / Accounts / TaxBack Office Operations Functional Area: Not Applicable Role/Responsibilies: Vice President - Merchant Banking
