Mercers Multi National Client Group is seeking candidates for the following position based in our offices in Frankfurt or Munich:
Client Director* Global Benefits Management (GBM)

This position is part of our Global Benefits Management (GBM) team, which specializes in advising multinational clients on their global benefit strategy. We work with our dedicated team of approximately 9,000 experts worldwide to help companies in 150 countries effectively manage their benefits to create a better future for their employees.
What can you expect:
The Global Benefits Management (GBM) Client Director is responsible for managing the GBM relationship with our largest strategic and most complex accounts in conjunction with Client Managers and/or Service Managers. You will focus on client retention and satisfaction, bringing new ideas, innovative thinking and regular points of view in the GBM arena to our clients as well as ensuring we are operationally effective. The Client Director will be a point of escalation for any GBM account issues, lead and scope global review meetings and take the lead on any rebid situations. Where applicable they will also ensure alignment and oversight of the delivery of our technology solution, Darwin. The individual will also contribute as a technical sales expert working in partnership with our dynamic sales team and look to inspire, mentor and coach wider team members on their client portfolios.
We will count on you to:
Manage the overall GBM client relationship with our largest most strategic complex accounts
Work with the GBM client team to ensure client satisfaction, setting clear direction on how the team will meet client expectations
Work with the GBM Sales team to drive pipeline population and management and look for opportunities to expand business
Deliver the GBM client journeys and thought leadership to generate case studies to support growth strategy
Support in the delivery of training to the GBM Local Network
Support GBM Local, GBM Client Manager and Service Manager training as required
Act as a mentor/role model to help GBM colleagues further in their career

What you need to have:
Proven experience and knowledge of the Global Benefits environment
Extensive experience of building and sustaining multinational client relationships
Significant delivery of Consulting and/or Broking expertise
Strong project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
