We are seeking a FBS Technology and Automation Manager within our Finance and Business Services team located at our Global Headquarters in Allentown, PA!

The Finance and Business Services (FBS) Technology and Automation Manager is responsible for leading the FBS technology and automation team as a part of the FBS Operational Excellence team. The FBS Technology and Automation Manager will lead efforts to develop and enable our FBS technology and automation roadmaps while also leading a team to identify, design, and prioritize technology and automation efforts in partnership with our Digital Technology organization. This is a critical leadership role as we continue along our FBS transformation journey.

Principal accountabilities:

Develop and enable/implement technology and automation strategy/roadmaps for the Finance and Business Services organization
Lead efforts to identify use cases and design/support implementation of technologies that align with both finance and business needs and priorities. Assist in development of impactful Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) use cases for finance and business services as a part of the SAP S/4 strategy development and transformation efforts.
Provide leadership to streamline FBS technology in partnership with Digital Technology, based upon requirements, including inputs, process, and outputs; build repeatable frameworks, model, and components for reliable and robust execution
Establish governance frameworks and resource planning for technology, automation, and data governance including defining decision-making authority and oversight processes for design and implementation of solutions, data ownership, and strategy.
Lead a high-performing team toward successful execution of technology and automation projects and activities.
Partner with Digital Technology, Finance, and Business teams to align with enterprise wide automation and transformation strategies to ensure efforts enable both business needs and strategic priorities
Support FBS transformation, SAP S/4 program and all other FBS efforts and initiatives as it relates to technology and automation activities
Continuously research and maintain expertise in the latest industry trends and developments related to emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Process Mining, and other automation solutions.

Experience and qualifications:

Bachelors degree required, Masters degree a plus
12+ years of Finance, Accounting, Business, IT or related experience
Recent experience with managing portfolio of automations, qualifying high use cases for automation and building pipeline of high value automation activities
Proven influencing, collaboration, analytical capabilities, and execution skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience in or high level understanding of SAP S/4 implementation requirements (End to end process enablement, design, build, implement)
Proven ability to lead a hard-working team with skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ability to perform in a high pace environment
Demonstrated knowledge and application of automation solutions which leverage best suited methodologies, practice and experience with automation concepts and tools
Ability to understand existing Finance systems environment and identify areas for improvement and automation opportunities
Ability to articulate and translate business vision and strategy to drive forward both process innovation and automation opportunities
Forward thinking change agent willing to challenge status quo and provide thought leadership to organization
