As a
Data Development Intern
youll be supporting data development activities in close alignment with the existing Data Development Engineer.

What youll do



Support daily data work such as:


Data import/export in database with some sanity checks.


Data management activities.



Support the Data Development Engineer in conducting improvement activities on the current databases and tooling, involving activities such as:


Improving the data structure.


Improving the data processing.


Better input/import template/function.


Automating data flows.



Update documentation for current tooling (EDIT, driver/module database/tool for better user experience).




Provide general support to the Tools & Services team where needed.



Your qualifications



Currently studying for your HBO Bachelor / Bachelor of Science / Master of science WO in: Computer / Data Science, Information Technology or related studies.


Proficiency with SQL.


Display a good level of spoken and written English, to communicate internationally.


Being a team player with an investigative mind, yet able to implement pragmatic solutions.


Being a self-confident, self-motivated person who can work independently.

At least 6 months assignment in the (digital) tools and services department.


Participation in data development projects/discussions, as well as practical knowledge in the area of data development engineering and customer data / digital support tools.

Paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.

Notes


EU/EER students: In order to be considered for this internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of this may be requested at any time.


Non-EU students in Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (receive ECTS in turn). In case of non-compulsory internship, you need to have a letter from the university in which it states that your internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals are and what tasks you will undertake during your internship. The letter has to be signed and stamped by your university.


Non-EU students in non-Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and the internship should be a compulsory part of your studies. Also, you need to be able to get the official approval of your university for this internship (Nuffic agreement).
